UV-Protection Oil is specially formulated to preserve the natural colour of exterior wood and slow down the greying process, providing up to 12 times more protection against UV damage compared to untreated wood. It is ideal for use on windows, doors, cladding, fencing, and other vertical wood structures (not recommended for flat surfaces such as decking).

Recommended for: Oak, Beech, Ash, Alder, Birch, and other hardwoods, including Cedar, Iroko, Mahogany, Teak, Walnut, Ipe, Merbau, Wenge, Rosewood, Sycamore, and Pressure-Impregnated Pine (new or sanded wood should be exposed to outdoor elements for approximately 12 weeks before application). Sapele requires 3-4 weeks, and Larch about 2 weeks of exposure before application. Other hardwood species may need different exposure times—consult for specific advice.
After the weathering period, it is recommended to de-grey the surface with a wood reviver and clean the surface before application (always trial apply).
